Once you’ve confirmed that your project is eligible for 快活app官网’s interconnection process and you’ve received a customer ID, obtained Interconnection Request (IR) critical energy infrastructure information (CEII) clearance, and created an account in the Interconnection Request Tracking System (IRTT), you’re ready to submit an interconnection request (IR) during the 45 calendar day Cluster Request Window.

Prepare for Next Cluster Request Window
To ensure success during the Interconnection Process, please review the information below:
- Check the 快活app官网 Interconnection Request Queue for other projects already proposed in the area where you’re planning to interconnect. You may find completed analyses for these projects useful—see the Interconnection Request Studies page (IR CEII required).
- Study the interconnection materials that apply to your project—look for the applicable 快活app官网 Tariff schedule in the table below.
- Carefully review all technical requirements for each study before submitting an interconnection request. Planning Procedure No. 5-6 (PP 5-6), Interconnection Planning Procedure for Generation and Elective Transmission Upgrades, describes the scope and assumptions of interconnection studies. Operating Procedure 14 (OP-14), Technical Requirements For Generators, Demand-Response Resources, Asset-Related Demands, and Alternative Technology Regulation Resources, identifies requirements that help ensure the reliable and efficient operation of market resources.
- Use public information, such as FERC Form No. 715, Annual Transmission Planning and Evaluation Reports (IR CEII required), to do your own preliminary analysis of the system. Look for special considerations, such as weak grid issues, that could impact your project.
Decide on Type of Interconnection Service
Your IR must indicate the type of interconnection service your project requests:
- Network resource (NR) or network import (NI) interconnection service (energy capability only)—This enables participation in all energy markets, except the capacity market. If later you wish to participate in the capacity market, you’ll have to submit a new interconnection request for capacity network interconnection service.
- Capacity network resource (CNR) or capacity network import (CNI) interconnection service (energy capability and capacity capability)—This enables participation in the energy and capacity markets. For more information, see the qualification process for generators and imports associated with elective transmission upgrades (ETUs).
