The 快活app官网 conducts audits to establish the claimed capability values for generation and demand capacity resources.
Audit Requirements
Generating Capacity Resources (Non-intermittent)
To establish and maintain summer and winter seasonal claimed capability (SCC), most nonintermittent generator assets must conduct the following:
- An established claimed capability audit (CCA) within five business days of the asset being registered as commercial
- A summer CCA at least once every capability demonstration year (the one-year period from September 1 through August 31)
- A winter CCA at least once every three capability demonstration years
Generating capacity resources are also subject to claim 10 and claim 30 audits for reserve designation, caps, and performance scores.
Generating Capacity Resources (Intermittent)
The summer and winter SCC for intermittent generator assets is the median of the net output during the intermittent reliability hours:
- Winter SCC—the median of net output during hours ending 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (and any hours during scarcity conditions) for the period representing October 1 to May 31. This value is calculated during the first week of June.
- Summer SCC—the median of net output during hours ending 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (and any hours during scarcity conditions) for the period representing June 1 to September 30. This value is calculated during the first week of October.
FCM Commercial Operation Audit (Intermittent Generating Resources)
Effective June 1, 2018, in addition to the SCC determinations, an intermittent generating capacity resource on critical path schedule (CPS) monitoring may also request an FCM commercial capacity audit. The audit value is determined based on a minimum of 30 consecutive days of performance during the winter season.

Nonwind/Solar Resource
|
- The request can only be made once per calendar month.
- The request will need to be made within five business days after the end of a performance period of 30 consecutive days.
- The performance period will need to be chosen between October 1 and May 31.
- The request will need to be made through an case and should include the following:
- Resource name (ID), asset ID(s)
- Chosen performance period
|
- The request to use the resource’s winter SCC to determine the FCM commercial capacity will need to be made within five business days of the SCC determination.
- The request will need to be made through an case and should include the following:
- Resource name (ID), asset ID(s)
- Winter SCC value

Active Demand Capacity Resources
To establish and maintain summer and winter seasonal demand-resource audit values, demand response resources (DRR) must perform:
- At least one summer seasonal demand resource audit each capability demonstration year in April, May, June, July, August, September, October or November
- At least one winter seasonal demand resource audit each capability demonstration year in December, January, February, or March
On-Peak and Seasonal-Peak Demand Capacity Resources
Audits are conducted via a review of performance data. A summer and a winter audit value will be established for each on-peak and seasonal-peak demand capacity resource. For demand capacity resources, summer months are April through November; all other months are winter months.
