Systems and processes affected by the project on June 1, 2018 include:
Remote Terminal Units (RTUs) will be enabled to automate communication of Demand Response Resource (DRR) desired dispatch points (DDPs) from the 快活app官网 Control Room. The DDP will be a request to reduce consumption under the PRD construct and by reducing its load, the DRR effectively provides additional supply. At this time, limits sent via RTU during dispatch will be rounded to the whole MW, although offers are made to the tenth of a MW. This will not affect the DDP, only the limits sent via RTU.
The eMarket application will be updated with new displays specific to DRRs which allow participants to create portfolios, day-ahead (DA) schedules and real-time (RT) schedules, submit DA and RT transactions, and enter hourly overrides of physical parameters. Participants will model DRRs as supply to align their financial characteristics with those of a generator. The Demand Resources Market User Interface (DRMUI) went live on May 1, 2018. However, beginning June 1, 2018 the system will begin to calculate baselines and allow participants to download three baseline types: weekday, Saturday, and Sunday/Holiday. After June 1, 2018 baselines for prior days, interval performance data by asset, and interval performance data by resource will become available.
The Submit Meter Reading UI, under the 快活app官网 SMD applications, will no longer include Real-time demand response (RTDR) and real-time emergency generation (RTEG).
On May 1, 2018 changes to support the PRD project went live in the Customer and Asset Management System (CAMS), Demand Resource Market User Interface (DRMUI), and the Demand resource Audit and Testing Tool (A&TT).
